Starting a wedding scrapbook now... Paid all that money and I'm cutting the magazines up with an exacto knife, lol. Fortunately I have a few extra 12x12 scrapbooks on hand, so I'm using one of those. I was going to use an 8x8 I had specifically for weddings, but I realized that the full-page pics were probably not going to fit, and it would make things very cramped in any case. I'm starting with wedding dresses, and going from there.
That is the great thing about having lots of time :)
The funny thing is, unexpectedly, as I was going through magazines searching for wedding dresses, was my 11 year old daughter was very interested in looking at all the dresses, too, and telling me which ones she thought were pretty. When she found out she was going to be a bridesmaid (as opposed to her previous role as a flower girl at my brother's wedding) she became interested all over again, looking for bridesmaid dresses for herself that she liked. She even asked if she could make her own scrapbook of dresses she liked for herself. (This is coming from someone who has displayed almost-zero interest in scrapbooking despite my own passion for it, she just isn't a crafty girl for the most part.) So we spent an afternoon going through all the magazines... Older ones first, I am going through the new ones today.
It's harder, because I am picky, and so I am taking out a few I like the whole dress, but many I like a certain aspect of the dress, like the style of the top, or the style of the bottom, or the style of the back. I'm not pasting anything until I can go through them all and see what I like best. Not sure what I will do with the ones that are "aspect-oriented". Well, I've got one pasted, and one ready for pasting, but that's it.
Anyway... Fiance will be home soon and I've got dishes to do and hamburger for tacos to look for, and still one more magazine to go, so I better get going...
